From the spawn in location, face North and follow the road. Take the road on your left that leads to the carpark. The Yao Guai will spawn near the dark-coloured ute/pickup truck. Blow up the cars after you have looted the body, otherwise, the corpse will fly.
Savage Divide

Stand on top of the shed and face SW. You will see a stream in front of you. Follow the stream up (watch your rads) and stick to the right when the stream forks. The stream will widen to a small lake at the top (if you see ticks, you have gone too far). Face NW and line up with the Big Fred's BBQ Shack map icon. Halfway up the hill, you will see the Yao Guai spawn.
Miners Monument
1x Yao Guai
From the spawn in location, turn East and run forward. Jump the fence or run through the gap in the fence and walk forward until you get to the path that is next to the small white building. Walk over to the golf carts and face SE. You will see a large rock pile in front of you. The Yao Guai will spawn on the other side of the rock pile.
Mountainside Bed & Breakfast
2x Yao Guai
From the fast travel point, turn NW and walk forward. Drop down the cliff face and follow the train track North. The Yao Guai will spawn between the white and red large metal power pylon on your left and the overturned train carriages in front of you.
The Bounty
1x Yao Guai
From the spawn in location, turn around and walk straight forward (East). Keep walking forward until you get to the Scorchbeast Lure tower. The Yao Guai will spawn at the base of the tower.
The Mire
Dolly Sods

You can't miss the first Yai Guai that spawns here unless another player has already killed him.
1x Yao Guai
Stand on the back porch of the first cabin and follow the path towards Dolly Sods Campground map icon. The Second Yao Guai will spawn on the path.
1x Yao Guai - possible spawn
Face West and head over to the second cabin. From the front of the second cabin face SW and walk forward until you get to the stream. Follow the stream up until you get to the second cliff face on your right. If the Yao Guai does spawn, then it will spawn in this area.
Chance to Spawn Locations
Note some of these locations rely on other players having the Pip-boy daily "Big Game Hunter" and "Thrill of the Grill" open but uncompleted in their Pip-boy so checking these spawn locations on a public server might be more beneficial.
Toxic Valley
Wavy Willard's Water Park
From the spawn in location, face East and run over to the stone and wire wall. Turn right (South) and follow the wall to the end. Turn left and continue to follow the wall around to the next corner. At the corner, turn so your back is to the wall and run forward until you either see a large herd of creatures or a skeleton on a picnic blanket.
Black Bear Lodge
From the fast travel point, turn West and follow the stream down to where it meets the Toxic Lake.
Graninger Farm
From the spawn in location, run towards the house and stop inside it. Face East and walk over to the Red and White Aerosolizer. The Yao Guai will spawn behind it.
The Crater
From the spawn in location, Face NW and run forward. Keep running until you hit the cliff face. Either jump or jetpack or run around to get to the top.

There is a chance that the Hunt Master will ask you to kill a Radscorpion.
2-3 will spawn at one of the three locations given by the Hunt Master.
Thrill of the Grill - Pip-boy daily
Hemlock Holes
Toxic Valley
The Hemlock Holes Cook robot will ask you to collect 5 Yao Guai meat.
2-3 will spawn at one of the three locations given.
Queen of the Hunt
1/6 chances to spawn at one of the Investigate sites.
This daily can be started the first time, by visiting the Hunter's Shack in The Mire. After completing the daily the first time, it will trigger by just fast traveling into the region. Pip-Boy daily cool-down periods apply.
Yao Guai Horde Event
The longer this event is left to run, the more Yao Guai's will spawn, just don't kill the Alpha until you have collected enough meat. Make sure to pop a Backwoodsman 6 magazine just before you Fast Travel to the event.
Spawns as one of the common enemies during the event.
