Where to find Robot Models in Fallout 76

Updated: Dec 23, 2023

Co-written by Lesley and Jessicca

Not only are these Robot Models a cool collector item, but you will also need to collect 5 of them to complete an Epic Challenge.

There are 8 Robots to collect:

Eyebot Model - Counts toward the Epic Challenge

Mr. Gutsy Model - Counts toward the Epic Challenge

Mr. Handy Model - Counts toward the Epic Challenge

Protectron Model - Counts towards the Epic Challenge

Sentry Bot Model - Counts towards the Epic Challenge

Robot Parts Model A (01) - Does not count towards the Epic Challenge

Robot Parts Model B (02) - Does not count towards the Epic Challenge

Robot Parts Model C (03) - Does not count towards the Epic Challenge

A shareable version of the checklist can be found here.

Robot Models are a per-player, per-server spawn.

This means that apart from instanced locations if another player has already picked up the Robot Model on that server, it will not be there for anyone else to collect.

Robot Models are a part of your pick-up history list. If you pick up a model and accidentally scrap it and want to go and collect another one, you will need to either find one at a different location or reset your pick-up history list at the book house in Summersville.

The easiest way to refresh your pick-up history list is to pay a visit to the book house in Summersville. Pick up every burnt book and textbook on all three floors, plus the books on the back table.

You only need to pick up 250 books/items to refresh your pick-up history list. There should be a total of 289 books in the book house, but if you pick up everything not bolted down, on all three floors, you don't need to worry too much if you miss a few burnt books.

There are other ways and places to collect 250 items but the book house is the easiest way because you don't need to keep track of how many items you have picked up.

More information about how spawns work can be found here.

Vault 51

1x Mr Handy Model

1x Sentry Bot Model

To enter Vault 51 you will need to unlock the door. To do this, enter the truck trailer on your left and push the button on the wall at the end.

Collecting the robot models here will be made easier if you collect all the keycards first so you can access all the rooms. Directions to all the keycards can be found here.

Enter the vault and go through screening, turn right under the Welcome to Vault 51 banner. Go past the front desk, into the Atrium, and head upstairs. Turn left and go through the wide opening into a sitting room. Turn right into the bedroom, and on the desk is an Eyebot Model.

For the next one, you will need to have completed the unmarked quest inside Vault 51 and obtained all the keycards to gain access to the Overseer's Office. Some lock-picking cards or Master Infiltrator won't go a miss here either.
