Farming Tips and Tricks
There are no perk cards or magazines that increase your Nuka-Cola Dark farming yields.
Nuka-Cola Darks is a player cell activated, per server spawn, pick up history list item. If you don't know what that means, please read my How Spawns Work guide first.
Vendors
Server hop to refresh the vendor's inventory.
Nuka World on Tour Mixer Machines - 100% chance to spawn
From the spawn in location, turn West and run towards the large red bottle behind Wild West Showdown (Cappy's Nuka-Cade).
Veer left slightly and continue to follow the path along until you reach Pete Myers sitting on the picnic bench on your left.
Turn SW and the Mixer Machines will be in front of you, at the end of the path.
Whitesprings Refuge - Bubbles - 100% chance to spawn
Fast travel to The Whitespring Resort and select Whitespring Refuge.
Once you have loaded in, veer right and go up the stairs. Keep walking forward and stop at the white Pittsburgh Union sign on the wall opposite you.
Turn right and walk all the way to the end.
Enter the Common Room.
Turn left and enter the room with the Giuseppe's Curios sign above it.
Showmen's Pier - Arcade - 100% chance to spawn
Open Expeditions on your map and select "The Most Sensational Game" or Showman's Pier.
The Expo will take you to Showman's Pier. Open the door and load inside.
Walk forward and open the door in front of you. Continue to walk forward and open the next door.
When you get to the bottom of the stairs, veer right and keep walking forward. Walk past the stage and veer left towards the door marked "Arcade".
Open the door and walk straight until you get to the stage with the pool table. Veer right and keep walking forward. Go up the first set of stairs and the mixer machine will be on your left, next to the door.

Nuka Cola Mystery Machine
Nuka-Cola Dark - 1.50% chance
Plan/Craft
Nuka Cola Dark can be crafted at the Brewing Station, after obtaining the plan.
It takes 60 minutes in your stash box, or 30 minutes in the fermenter, to ferment into Nuka Cola Dark.
The Super Duper perk card does not work when crafting Nuka Cola Dark.
To craft one Nuka Cola Dark:
5x Wood
3x Boiled Water
2x Nuka-Cola
3x Snaptail Reed

Biv

6.25% chance to drop from the Daily: Tipsy Taste-Test.
Biv is everyone's favourite robot. (When was the last time you said Hello to Biv, he is stuck down there, all alone, waiting for you to come back).
Once you have completed the Quest Wasted on Nukashine, you can return to Biv and he will give you a daily quest, which rewards alcohol recipes.

From the spawn in location, turn South and follow the road up the hill. Just past the Ghoul spawns, you will see a building with a blue door on your right.
Enter the building, stay on the ground floor, and look for the door marked "Employees Only".
If the Nuka Cola Dark does spawn, it will be on the shelf, against the SE wall.
Investigator's Cabin

From the fast travel point, run toward the cabin and destroy the wolf spawns. Turn East and follow the road until you see a building with a green roof. Continue walking forward and jump onto the roof of the building. Jump down to the ground and clear away any enemies.
Enter the building and if the Nuka Cola Dark does spawn, it will be in the Nuka Cola machine against the West wall.
Atlantic City/Boardwalk/Showman's Pier

You need to enter Showman's Pier for the second part of the Expo so just follow the task and map markers until you enter the building. After March the 26th 2024, you will be able to just fast travel to Atlantic City without an Expo.
From the door, walk forward, through the two sets of red double doors. Stop at the set of stairs in front of you. Walk left around the stairs and the wall. Stop when you get to the stage with the piano on it. Turn West and you should be looking at a Soda Pop bar. The Nuka Cola Darks will spawn on the shelves on either side of the broken vendor machine.
