Updated: Jul 1, 2023

With credit to Vicyorus and thanks to Gilpo and Coffee888.

This guide will cover all spawn locations for the prisoner collars, an additonal objective that can only be done during mission 2, From Ashes to Fire.

The collars are found on the corpses of former laborers. The bodies themselves are fixed spawns, however, which bodies will spawn the collars will change with every expo.

There are two seperate areas that the bodies can be found in, the Sanctum and the Trench.

The Trench

The Trench itself is split into 6 areas.

  • Collapsed Train Tunnel

  • Factory

  • Chemical Dump

  • Jaxon's Noose

  • Fanatic Labour Yard

  • Union Outpost

Collapsed Train Tunnel

This can be identified by the train carriages and train tracks. Danilo can sometimes be found standing at the start of the tunnel, for the neutralise the hazard (Blue plastic barrels) task. It is also one of the locations that the survivors can be found at.

Factory

While mostly in ruins, this area can be identified by the factory type shelving, forklifts and machinery. It can also be identified by the 5 large yellow support arms holding the walls up.

Chemical Dump

This can be identified by the large leaning metal silo in the middle of the area.

Jaxon's Noose

There is not much here but a half submerged metal silo and a broken train carrage. Danilo may send you here to destroy some toxic goo.

Fanatic Labour Yard

This can be identified by the large wooden and metal put-together building in the middle of the area. This is also where Danilo will send you to collect the Trench masks and Trench Meds.

Union Outpost

This area can be identified by the truck and trailer, balancing on the large concrete pole in the middle.

Map of the trench can be found here.

There are 4 possible spawn locations in The Trench, equalling 7 bodies in total.

If you are running in a good team, then it is suggested, when the team leader is first speaking to Ava Rose at the Outpost, one team mate head to the Chemical Dump and check for the collars there, while the other team mates check the other trench spawn locations. Once the 5 collars have been collected, the team leader can turn the collars back into Ava Rose before starting task 2 and task 3.

As one of the team mates mentioned above, once you collect all the collars, stay at that location while the team leader moves to task 2 and the instance will pull you over to your team mate.

Abraxo Factory

Possible spawn location #1

In the back of the dump truack, behind 3 of the large yellow support arms holding the walls up.

Chemical Dump

Possible spawn location #2

There are 5 spawn locations here, basically next to each other.

On the East side of the area, behind the large metal silo. In and next to a tipped over orange metal crate.

Possible spawn location #3

On the East side of the area, behind the large metal silo. 3 bodies on top of each other on a fire pit.

Fanatic Labour Yard

Possible spawn location #4

On the sleeping bag, just before the room where you deposit the Trench masks and Trench meds.

The Sanctum

The Sanctum itself is split into 3 areas.

  • Sewers

  • Catacombs

  • Cathedral

Sewers

This section can be identified by the concrete walls, cat walks, consoles and trees. The Fanatic Harrowers will spawn in this area as well.

Catacombs

This section can be identified by all the bones and coffins.

Cathedral

This section can be identified by the pews, stained glass and other religion decor.

Map of the Sanctum can be found here.

There are 9 possible spawn locations in The Sanctum, equalling 9 bodies in total.

Sewers

Possible spawn location #1

Once you load into the Sewers, walk straight until you get into an open room. On your right, in the drain.

Possible spawn location #2

Continue along the cat walk and enter the room on your right. Inside the Nuka Cola fridge.

Possible spawn location #3

In the same room as the Nuka Cola fridge. In the bathtub.

Possible spawn location #4

From the room with the Nuka Cola Fridge. Stand at the door and face SW. Walk forward to the end of the platform, turn left and follow it to the end. Go down the stairs and follow the cat walk until you get to the end.

Possible spawn location #5

From the body on the crate above, face South. There are two doorways to enter the next room, the blue one and the orange one. Enter via either and look for the body that is in the corner. They have one arm reaching out, trying to escape from their wire tomb.

One of the Fanatic Harrowers may spawn inside this room.

Catacombs

Possible spawn location #1

At the end of one of the tunnels, leading from the Sewers to the Catacombs. Under the Sanctum sign.

Possible spawn location #2

Depending on which task you are running for Danilo, you might run straight past this one or you will need to follow the below directions.

Once you enter the catacombs, head in a SW direction until you see the roman bath. The body will be on the edge. One of the prisoner cells that you need to unlock, is opposite the roman bath.

Possible spawn location #3

From the roman bath above. Stay on the ground floor, do not go up any stairs. Turn and face North. There will be a few different doorways in front of you. Go through the ground floor, left hand side doorway.

Keep heading North. Take the doorway on your left and then just keep walking staight. You will run into a prison cell at the end. The body is behind the wall, next to a note.

Cathedral

Possible spawn location #1

On the second floor near the organ, there are three Pulowski Preservation Shelters, the corpse is on the center one. If you come up from the hole in the ground and jet pack straight up through a hole in the roof, you will land directly in front of this spawn.
