There is a 0.003% to 0.04% chance that Alpha Wendigo's (Wendigo's with a Crown next to their name) can drop armour plans, weapon plans, and mod plans such as Plan: Marine Wetsuit, Plan: Harness, Plan: Long Johns, Plan: Raider Leathers, Plan: Marine Tactical Helmet, etc. However, the chance is so small and the list is so long that I won't be listing them below.

Fixed spawns

Vault 51

Scorched Wendigo spawn.

From the Atrium, stay on the bottom floor and head over to the North corner of the room. Enter the dining room and open the door on your right. You will find the Scorched Wendigo in the gambling room.

Transmission Station 1AT-U03

Scorched Wendigo spawn.

You will need to have completed the original Enclave questline to be able to enter this location. Hacker and Lock Pick perk cards or Master Infiltrator will help a lot here as well.

From the main lobby, face NE and use either the terminal or lock pick to unlock the white door on the left. Follow the corridor around until you get to a room with a green poisonous cloud. You can either jump into Power Armour, a Chinese Stealth Suit or just YOLO it through the cloud. Keep following the path around until you get to a room with a Scorched Mothman in it.

Kill the Mothman and then follow the catwalk around on your right. Keep following the platform around until you see a door marked "Exit". Walk through that door and follow the path around until you get to another lab. The Wendigo will jump out at you from the top floor of the lab.

Wendigo Cave

Glowing Wendigo spawn.

Follow the cave to the end and take care against the level 100 Mirelurk Kings.

Abby's Bunker

1 to 3 Glowing Wendigo.

From the spawn-in point, turn East and follow the path down to the main road. Turn right and follow the road down until you see a ute/pickup truck and horse trailer hanging from a tree in the middle of the road.

Chance to spawn

There is a 1/3 chance for a Wendigo to spawn at the below locations, providing your character is over level 50. If you are under level 50 then your chances become lower.

If you are over level 50 and in the Nuke Zone then there is still a 1/3 chance for a Wendigo to spawn.

Hi, I'm Kat or Duchess

I'm an Australian data miner who writes farming, event, and food buff guides for Fallout 76.

I believe that all knowledge and information should be free, which is why my guides will never be locked behind a paywall. However, running a website and photo and video editing software does not come cheaply.

So, If you found my guides helpful, please consider buying me a ko-fi (coffee) using the link below.

All monies go towards the tools for writing my guides and maybe for an actual cup of coffee or 3 ;)

Alternatively, share my guides with your fellow vault dwellers and help them to survive the wasteland.
